Opening in late 2009, the new Art Gallery of Alberta will be an 85,000 square foot state of the art facility and a premiere presentation venue for international, Canadian and First Nations art, education and scholarship.  

Designed by Randall Stout Architects, Inc. of Los Angeles, the building will itself be a work of art. Located in the heart of Edmonton’s Arts District on Sir Winston Churchill Square, the Gallery will secure Edmonton’s reputation as a world class city and centre for visual art.
