Media are invited to a behind the scenes preview of the Art Gallery of Alberta’s four new exhibitions and the announcement of TD Bank Financial Group’s major donation to the New Vision project and the naming of the Gallery’s future Education Centre Gallery. TD Bank Financial Group has demonstrated a strong commitment to investing in the well-being of communities and their future through their community giving program initiatives in the areas of literacy and education, children’s health, arts and culture, and the environment.

The Art Gallery of Alberta will announce this important donation and its new exhibitions scheduled to open to the public on Saturday September 22 in conjunction with a lecture with the artists from FUN HOUSE and a curator’s talk with The 1950 Ford Show guest curator Anthony Easton. 

Media will have an opportunity to speak with the Gallery’s curators about upcoming events and the AGA’s new exhibitions POP: love, loss and the everyday..., Kurt Schwitters: Collage Eye, Fun House, and The 1950 Ford Show.
