Edmonton, AB. - The ART GALLERY OF ALBERTA is proud to present GET BENT: Queer Youth Art from November 23-December 1, 2007. Closing reception held on December 1 at 1:30 pm.
A proud participant of Exposure, Edmonton's Queer Arts and Culture Festival, the Art Gallery of Alberta presents GET BENT: Queer Youth Art, an exhibition showcasing the talents of Edmonton’s Queer youth from November 23-December 1, 2007.
This free exhibition will conclude with a day of Making Queer Art with Your Family and Friends on December 1 from 12-4 pm. At 1:30 pm that day, join five-term City of Edmonton Councillor Michael Phair and the youth artists and curators for closing remarks and reception.
An initiative of Michael Phair, Exposure is a celebration of queer arts and culture. The Art Gallery of Alberta welcomes the public to participate in these festival activities and observe the Day Without Art, an international day of commemoration held in conjunction with World AIDS Day.
