The exhibition features the work of 10 internationally recognized artists who reflect on this complex conversation between art and science. Their works blur the lines between the scientific and the artistic, engaging us with the fear and promise of their ideas and images while inspiring us to think about how our decisions are formed.
Imagining Science is produced as part of the University of Alberta’s Centenary celebrations and sponsored by Alberta Ingenuity. The exhibition was organized in collaboration with Timothy Caulfield, Canada Research Chair in Health Law and Policy and Research Director at the Health Law Institute, University of Alberta and Sean Caulfield, Canada Research Chair in Printmaking, Department of Art and Design at the University of Alberta, with the support of the Canada Council for the Arts, SSHRC, Genome Alberta, the University of Alberta and the Festival of Ideas.
